Secretary

Cathy Mangum, a dedicated and accomplished professional, brings a wealth of experience and a heart full of compassion to her role as Secretary of Youngpreneur Academy. With over 15 years of experience in various roles such as Program Consultant, Inbound Sales Agent, and Senior Account Manager, Cathy is known for her creativity and results-oriented approach.

Cathy has worked extensively in the field of customer service and account management, starting as a Senior Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk, she managed full charge processing of all accounts receivable. She continued her journey in various roles, including Route Manager at Orkin Pest Control and Administrative Assistant at Raleigh Housing Authority, where she handled operations and customer service calls, supervised work order departments, and managed government contracts.

Most recently, Cathy served as a Program Consultant at Byrider and Inbound Sales Agent/Supervisor at Time Warner Cable. In these roles, she has built strong relationships with customers, provided excellent customer service, and managed large caseloads. Her dedication to her work and her ability to motivate and lead teams have significantly improved customer satisfaction and business performance.

Cathy’s extensive experience extends beyond customer service and account management. She has been working with the youth since 2000, certified as a Best Friend/Mentor with FYI Incorporated in 2006, and helped spearhead a 4H Charter Program in Raleigh, NC. Her diverse background demonstrates her versatility and commitment to community service.
